Friday the 13th and a Drawing

Well, there's not much to talk about in the world of updates, really. Just something I'm putting together for a pitch book I'm working on for Image Comics and Tokyopop. Maybe some others if I feel like it.

I just did some Production Assistant work in NYC for a movie that prooved to be highly interesting. Other than that, just need to push myself farther.

I totally forgot that today was Friday the 13th...

More Pixels!

Gee whiz! Another post so soon? I'm proud of myself. Here's some more pixel work I was asked to do, they are just samples I plan on using for portfolios and such later when needed, so they're not like a given test or anything from a studio to do.

and don't blink, you may miss these little guys.

All done at actual size. Color me crazy, but I had fun making them!

Little things

I really need to stop doing the once-a-month blog posts. I should be doing those once a week, ideally in my opinion, but sometimes that doesn't always happen since circumstances are a little more difficult at the time being.

Anyhow, I had done some low-res images for a cellphone game job that requested some samples. Here's some of my misinterpritation.

and when I sent those, I was clarified and all is well. Well, I would like to think.

To be honest, I like the little screencaps I did more. If you can catch what game I'm referencing with the jungle and alligator, you rock.

Post-it notes

So for the past few weeks, still somewhat stuck at the moment selling soap, but decided during a break to borrow some post-it notes and ended up doodling and somehow timing myself. Kinda crazy, eh?

Oh you know those crazy emo kids.

And I am yet amazed that no one has attempted to have Harry Potter become a Jedi. I guess I'm not looking in the right places?

Back to the grind! Random comments are welcome.

Oh Roadblocks

Due to technical difficulties, things seem to be hitting plenty of roadblocks here.
I have to relearn HTML (or ask friends) and find out more about Flash classes online.

Did you know you could get certified as a flash designer? Sounds pretty silly to me, but yeah, need to find a way to get those loans paid off.

And above is a character of mine for my Pitch book in the making! Well, more for comic books, really, but still! Who knows, maybe if I work hard enough with it, it could be on Adult Swim.

Oh to be a fresh graduate with some hopes and dreams still in tact.
